Vivekananda House

Who we are

The Vivekananda House at Texas A&M University is a center of activity for Hindu students on the university campus, serving as the location for the broader Hindu community in the Bryan/College Station area that fosters community and celebration. It is located at a 10 minute walk from the northern edge of campus in a residential neighborhood just behind the main University Drive.

The Vivekananda House is a residential facility where 3-5 students live on the second floor and maintain the common area facility. The first floor is dedicated to Hindu YUVA activities and gatherings, puja prayer, yoga, and general cultural activities.

Aartis occur everyday in the mornings and evenings, and timings are communicated through the “Friends of VH” group on WhatsApp.
